Study Session on Understanding Jewish Prayer

As part of the New Minyan Midbar Initiative, Rabbi Dov offers a penetrating study of the Shabbat morning Hebrew liturgy. Our study will illuminate the meaning and spiritual possibilities of the Shema and Amidah prayers. We will give a special focus on how to approach prayer as an act of transcendence. No prior background is necessary, but always helpful.
